Today we join our host, Trevor, as he creates a murderous birthday party for two groups of friends with Jazz Age Jeopardy.
Trevor made sure his guests were fed by providing them with a grazing table of cheeses, meats, and fruits. Not only did this setup give his guests the much needed sustenance they needed for their murderous intentions, but it also allowed them to play and have fun.
In addition to the grazing table, Trevor also designed a cocktail menu with murderously titled drinks for his guests to imbibe. One must quench a murderous thirst after all.
Trevor says,
We decked out our outside area like a jazz club with lights and a bar. We hung paper decorations copied from a Youtube video which looked great and for all the clues we actually used real objects (rather than the paper ones) which was a nice touch.
This Jazz Age Jeopardy birthday party brought together two large groups of friends, who had never met or played a murder mystery before, and created a lot of excitement. Paper invites were sent weeks before to make it more mysterious and formal for everyone. Trevor’s friends did not disappoint as they all showed up in full character. It was a few hours before the murderer was revealed and everyone became themselves again.
It was great fun, pretty detailed, and the way the game is setup gets everyone to throw themselves fully into it. The instructions are really good to help the organizer setup and follow and the parts are all fun.
